Tour Highlights:

Blagaj

Begin your journey just 15 minutes from Mostar at the spring of the Buna River — Europe’s second-largest karst water source. Nestled beneath a towering 200-meter cliff, the crystal-clear waters emerge from a 15-meter-wide cave, home to endemic trout. Adjacent stands the 16th-century Dervish monastery, one of the most revered and mystical landmarks in Bosnia & Herzegovina. Enjoy traditional coffee or tea with “smokvara” (fig cake) in this serene and spiritual setting.

Počitelj

Continue through the stunning Neretva Valley to the historic town of Počitelj — a UNESCO Tentative List site. This open-air architectural marvel blends Ottoman and Mediterranean influences in a unique stone amphitheater rising above the Neretva River. Originally commissioned by King Tvrtko in the 14th century, Počitelj is a hub of artistic inspiration, home to the region’s longest-running art colony. Explore its medieval fortress, mosque, hammam, and vibrant local markets featuring handmade crafts and fresh produce.

Mogorjelo – Roman Villa Ruins

En route to Kravice, take a moment to visit the Roman villa ruins of Mogorjelo — a remarkably preserved 1st-century BC site and a designated national monument. Wander among ancient wine presses, amphora-shaped tanks, and shaded cypress groves. The onsite restaurant offers an exceptional culinary experience with river fish, spit-roasted eel, and locally-produced wines.

Kravice Waterfalls

No visit to Herzegovina is complete without witnessing Kravice Falls — a spectacular 25-meter-high cascade stretching over 120 meters. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural pool formed by the Trebižat River or relax at one of the charming riverside cafés. This natural wonder is a popular retreat for both locals and visitors during the warmer months.

Fortica Hill Lookout & Wine Country

On our return to Mostar, we’ll ascend Fortica Hill for panoramic views over the city and surrounding landscapes. Along the way, take in the pastoral charm of Herzegovina’s vineyards and rolling hills. If desired, stop for a traditional spit-roasted lamb meal, renowned as one of the region’s signature culinary delights.
