Italian explorer and traveler Marco Allegri from the Non solo turisti blog, visited the city of Mostar after his tour around Bosnia and the towns of Jajce, Zenica and the capital of Sarajevo.
After contacting him to help our project, Marco kindly shared with us his thoughts about Mostar. Read his statement:
“Sono stato a Mostar per tre giorni durante un mio viaggio in Bosnia, e da subito mi ha impressionato e colpito la bellezza del luogo. Camminare per le stradine ciottolate del centro storico è un po’ come tornare indietro nel tempo il bello scoprire botteghe storiche e ristoranti che servono piatti tipici della regione. Quello che più mi ha colpito di Mostar è la pace e l’atmosfera rilassata che si respira in città , ma soprattutto lo spirito amichevole ed accogliente dei suoi abitanti. Ci si innamora facilmente di Mostar E non vedo l’ora di poter tornare per qualche giorno in questo gioiello della Bosnia, Ancora poco conosciuto (per fortuna) dal turismo di massa.â€
We hope that his travels will bring him back to our hometown Mostar.
