The 17th Mediterranean Film Festival of feature films will be held this month in Siroki Brijeg. This festival creates a unique atmosphere, a mix of relaxation, tourism, entertainment, rhythm and films. Therefore in short time this festival became an attraction between film fans and audience.
Eleven films will be screened within the competition program of short documentary films at the Mediterranean Film Festival that shall take place from August 24th to 27th in Å iroki Brijeg. The selector Damir ÄŒuÄić has chosen excellent works, some of which have already won awards at big festivals in the region and the world. These eleven are competing for the jury and the audience awards.

It is important to mention that this is not the only festival to be held this month in our country. In the capital of Sarajevo, the 22nd Sarajevo Film Festival was held.
This year American actor Robert De Niro received a lifetime achievement award, the Heart of Sarajevo, on the opening night of the 22nd edition of the Sarajevo Film Festival.
